Graphic Design will focus on a digital approach to design. This includes utilizing personal computer systems to manage files, folders, and documents. Students will be using professional computer applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator while learning the essential elements of design.   This course falls under the Communication, Critical Thinking and Personal and Social Institutional Level Outcomes.   No experience necessary, lots of imagination required. 
 
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 
  • The students in Graphic Design will demonstrate visual communication techniques through the use of professional computer applications
  • The students in Graphic Design will display their ability to integrate text and photos through completion of a class project
