This course is designed to open the students' minds to the field of chemistry. This introductory chemistry course will allow students to investigate and establish a strong interest into the fundamentals of not only chemistry but other S.T.E.M. fields as well. Daily laboratory activities will provide great hands-on experience for such topics as chemical reactions, state changes of matter, acid and base chemistry, and much more. Students will be introduced to the Periodic Table of Elements in a fashion that will enable them to utilize it in future classes and in other aspects of their everyday lives.  All skill levels are welcome to participate in this course as projects are oriented towards exploration and creativity rather than technical ability or routine memorization.
