« back to classes page
In school, students are often required to make oral presentations in their classes. Frequently, students are too nervous and might not know what to talk about, or ramble on without making a point.  In the Speech & Presentation Skills class, students will work on skills to enhance their ability to speak effectively in public, learn how to command attention in front of a crowd, and present their ideas with confidence. In addition, students will analyze current events and hot topics, and conduct research on debate topics.  Finally, participants will also learn to work in co-operation with other students as well as improve upon their listening and speaking skills

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:

1.         Command attention in front of a crowd.
2.         Speak clearly and present their ideas with confidence.
3.         Improve listening and speaking skills.
