Who is this class for?
Anyone with a strong desire to teach CPR classes. Must have a current BLS Provider card to attend Instructor Course.
This course falls under the Critical Thinking and Personal, Social, Civic, and Environmental Responsibility Institutional Level Outcomes (ILOs).???
Upon the successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED
- Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
- Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
- Management of ACS and stroke
- Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team
Refund Policy: Students must arrive on time for the course. Late arrivals and/or students who do not complete the class will be dismissed without receiving a certificate or a refund. No refunds or transfers are permitted for CPR, First Aid, & Medical courses.
