The Motorcyclist Training Course (MTC) at Mt. San Antonio College is an approved California Motorcyclist Safety Program (CMSP) and training site authorized by Total Control Training, Inc and the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The Motorcyclist Training Course (Hybrid) is for novice riders and includes 4-6 hours of online classroom instruction using eRider and 9.5 hours of range (on-cycle) instruction. Online instruction is done at home on the computer. The range (on-cycle) instruction takes place over two days and builds fundamental street-riding skills and strategies.
To participate in this training a student must possess a valid driver's license, a DMV issued instruction permit, or a DMV issued identification card. Students between 16-18 years of age must have a parent or guardian accompany them to the first range class to sign a waiver form. Students must attend and successfully complete online and range (on-cycle) instruction to receive a certificate. Students must be on time for all range (on-cycle) sessions - late arrivals and/or students who do not complete online instruction will be dismissed from the course without a certificate or refund. No refunds or transfers are allowed. We make no guarantees, expressed or implied, that you will successfully complete this training. Classes are held rain or shine.
Please park in Lot F in front of Building 40. You can purchase an all-day parking permit for $5 at the kiosk located in front of Lot F. We are not responsible for any parking fines incurred. Please visit Mt. SAC's Police and Campus Safety website here for current and additional parking policies and guidelines.
