This class will cover BLS content, videos, exam review and demonstration of skills. The program is geared for healthcare providers and those that need to renew. The is a LIVE class and all requirements for BLS will be completed in this session. Course completion eCards will be sent the following business day.

Who is this class for?
This class is for anyone wanting to renew their current Basic Life Support provider card. (Nurses, CNAs, Psych Tech, etc.)

This course falls under the Critical Thinking and Personal, Social, Civic, and Environmental Responsibility Institutional Level Outcomes (ILOs).

Upon the successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Describe the importance of high-quality CPR and its impact on survival
Describe all the steps of the Chain of Survival
Apply the BLS concepts off the Chain of Survival
Recognize when someone needs CPR
Preform high-quality CPR for an adult, a child, and an infant
Describe the importance of early use of an AED
Demonstrate the appropriate use of an AED
Provide effective ventilation by using a barrier device
Describe the importance of teams in multi-rescuer resuscitation
Perform as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR
Describe how to relieve foreign-body airway obstruction for an adult, a child, and an infant

Refund Policy: Students must arrive on time for the course. Late arrivals and/or students who do not complete the class will be dismissed without receiving a certificate or a refund. No refunds or transfers are permitted for CPR, First Aid, & Medical courses.
