Reading: Reading with a Purpose 6th - 8th Grade

Students will learn the different styles of reading. Reading for FUN. Reading for understanding. Reading to gather/gain information. Students will practice reading different text with different purposes, fluency, and in-depth understanding of the author's purpose. Students will participate in dialogue and discussion with fellow classmates on the text being read. These skills will assist students in differentiating their reading style to gain a better understanding on how to approach the text.

Print and complete the Participant and Photo Release form and turn in when you “sign in” for the first time. Lunch orders requests must be turned in to the proctor at time of check-in, at the beginning of each 3 week session.
