Learning How to Make Body Butter

In this class, participants will learn the entire process of making a variety of body butter products.  Making your own body butter lotion is not as difficult as you might think.  We will accomplish this by using a simple process utilizing many of the same tools you already have in your kitchen.  Many body butter recipes need just a handful of ingredients - you can make them with whatever scent and therapeutic qualities you desire to create unique products.  Body butter is awesome in any form.  Like many people, you seek to create a restful retreat in your home - one in which you can relax and rejuvenate your mind, body and soul.

This course falls under the Personal, Social, Civic, and Environmental Responsibility Institutional Level Outcomes (ILOs). 

Upon the successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Make body butter
• Properly handle all tools and supplies
• Keep a safe work environment
• Locate and purchase tools and supplies
