Life is stressful and at times chaotic. Practicing Ikebana involves calming and focusing one’s mind. It is learning and developing a new approach to the beauty found in nature all around us. Students gain two sets of benefits; one, the skill/process of arranging flowers that is relaxing, and second, students will bring home a fresh flower arrangement after every class.
Students will need to bring the following items to class:
10” flat container (vase) $10
3” x 4” kenzan (from Japan) $35
Garden cutter (from Japan) $30
These may be purchased from the instructor on the first day of class or you may bring your own. Once registered for the course, please email Wendy Sensei to let her know if you would like her to bring any of the above items for you (Include name, course date and course number in the email) TO: Wendyikebana@gmail.com
